The result of this match determined which team went on to meet Staffordshire in the final. Although three days had been set aside for play, the match was not completed as rain prevented any play on the first two days. The captains agreed at the start of play on the third day to accept the first innings result as the basis for deciding which team progressed. Glamorgan passed the Witshire first innings total before losing a wicket. Creber took 10 wickets in the match for 62 runs, including 8 for 18 in the Wiltshire first innings. No batsman scored fifty. The Wiltshire first innings total of 41 was equal second lowest of the season.
