Wiltshire had also won when the teams had met at Trowbridge the previous week. For the winners, Mitchell took 10 wickets in the match for 118 runs, while Smith took 9 for 75. C S Awdry scored 57 and J E Stevens 50. For Berkshire debutant S H Stevens scored 53.
