Drawn return match with the Carmarthenshire declaration setting Cornwall a victory target of 305 runs in 90 minutes. The match between the two sides at Camborne the previous week had been won by Cornwall. For the visitors there were 19 fours in Bickford-Smith's 109 not out, an innings of 1½ hours. In the first innings he scored 64. In the Cornwall second innings, Bickford-Smith and Tresawna put on an undefeated 161 for the first wicket. For Carmathenshire Gee scored 77 not out and Morgan's 74 contained 9 fours. The match run aggregate of 909 was the third highest for a completed match during the season. When keeping wicket on the first morning with the score 112 for 3 wickets, Vibart was injured and temporarily retired with Rogers taking over the gloves. Vibart returned to his wicket-keeping duties after lunch. Newspaper reports indicate that 'the excessive heat on the second morning forced Tresawna to make frequent changes in the bowling'.
