Glamorgan won by five wickets shortly before 4 pm on the second day, after Hertfordshire failed to save the follow on by 3 runs. Persistent light rain caused play to end early at 5.30 pm on the first day, and heavy rain overnight caused the wicket to become difficult for batting on the Thursday. For the winners, Nash took 12 wickets in the match for 91 runs, including 7 wickets for 38 in the Hertfordshire first innings. Riches scored 61 and Bancroft also 61. For the losers, Wright top-scored with 30 including 3 sixes and 1 four.
