Cornwall won this match by 9 wickets on the second day. For the winners Tresawna scored 88 not out and with Whiting he added 72 runs for the last wicket in the first innings. Hawken took 13 wickets in the match for 103 runs including 8 for 48 in the first innings. For Dorset Sewell took 5 wickets for 54 runs in the Cornwall first innings. This was Trevarthen's benefit match and there was a big gate. The proceeds were £26, half of which went to the beneficiary.
