This return match was played on a newly created ground. Kent 2nd XI won by an innings and 40 runs after only 45 minutes play on the second day. The match between the two sides earlier in the month at Folkestone had been won by Kent. For the winners A F Leach-Lewis scored 53 which
included 2 sixes and 6 fours. In the Buckinghamshire first innings Collins came on to bowl with the score at 50 for 0 wickets and in the space of 3 overs took 5 wickets for no runs. He took 7 wickets for 39 runs in the innings. In the Kent innings Leach-Lewis and Roberts added 87 runs for the eighth wicket. For Buckinghamshire Frith was the top scorer with 44 and Wright took 5 wickets for 80 runs.
